Yesterday I spent one entire day watching 26 episodes of claymore. Initially, I was very reluctant because the graphics and the sound quality were horrendous. But after zhan hui’s persistence, I finally submitted. Wow and hell ya, it was nice alright! The claymores are damn cool, each being allocated a number which signifies their rank in the organization. Then you have these monsters called yoma (which you only see for a few episodes because the subsequent episodes were focused on awakened beings). The plot was intriguing and some of the characters were superb. But the intro sucked, same goes for the ending. But overall I guess I would have to give it a 3.5/5. Hey my anime standards are very high ok. The previous anime I watched (Law of ueki) is only worth a 2/5 for its serious lack of content in its plot. In other words, its was just a stereotypical anime with no twist or whatsoever.

Anyways, owen changed his blogskin, nice one man! Come this Friday we would have choose our JCs for the PAE. I’m exactly certain as to how many options we are to make but one thing that is definite is that my first choice will be VICTORIA JUNIOR COLLEGE (Science). Argh, since the open house I have fixed my mind on going there, there is no more considerations for the rest. As for the rest, I’m rather perplexed, should I put ACJC or TJC as the 2nd choice? My bro says TJC is boring, further more its going to be filled with those china people again, so I’m quite skeptical. At ACJC the environment is going to be SUPER good, but one thing would be transportation. Argh, I wish I wouldn’t have to bother about this and just go to VJC. I have always wanted to go to VJC since primary 6, too bad I screwed up PSLE and couldn’t go to VS.

Pros about VJC: Hot girls (especially since they outnumber boys by nearly 3 times)
: Nice environment
: Next to ECP
: Good education
: Students love the school (unlike mshs, where majority detest it)
: Good facilities (even though it pales in comparison to the rest)
: NICE canteen food
: Good educational options (like the subject combinations etc)
: Fun CCAs
: Good teachers (ok can’t conclude yet, but Ms Fong is one of them)
: A couple of mshs people are going

Cons about VJC: Why do all of the chemistry teachers have traits of being rude?
: Rather small
: Extremely far from my house

I feel that the Pros strongly outweigh the Cons. This is because the Pros are generally more all encompassing while the Cons are basically trivial factors that will arise, affecting only a small aspect of inconvenience. Most of the Cons are not detrimental to my interest and are only tiny sources of irritancy. Hence I can conclude that the Pros are way more important than the Cons. ^_^ L5
