Well, it has been ages since I've made any posts. Many events have come and gone. Lets start with CLIC. Oh well, CLIC was amazing. Despite the negative mentality I held initially, I grew to realise that it is probably the only camp where I learn so much. Much of what I've gathered from the camp cannot be described in mere words. All I can say is that it was an outstanding and truly enriching experience for me. I guess there was a lot of pressure to step up and rise to the occasion when the situation called for it. I stepped out of my comfort zone, which is a big feat for someone like me I guess. I guess I haven't really been able to thank my CLIC group members as well I could have. Thank you Sarah, Jobel, Soffian, Jed, Sharon, Yu Min, Adilah and Terence for making those 4 days in CLIC camp as fun as it could have been. Despite our group being very quiet, I guess we really SHINED as the camp slowly progressed. Well, Jarren, thanks for being our group facilitator. Greg told me that you guys feel that I'm kinda reserved when talking to you guys. Yea well I don't really deny that. Well, I'll try to talk more k :D haha!
Well Sunday was ZFAC! Congrats Willis for making AA zone champ! May your team get the National AA champs this year! Seeing the competition really made me reminisce about the times when I trained and competed in the competion. Now that I think about it, getting 1st runner's up in the zone AC category was kinda wasted. Well I guess the best part was being able to meet up with my ex-squad mates. Winston, Elliot, Zheng Hui, Zhan Hui, De Xian, Xian yi, Jian Li, Nick chen, Chia Siang, Glenn Quah and Jian Hong. Well meeting up and talking crap once again was kinda fun! Went back to arcade for a while which reminded me of the fun we used to have last time.
Northlight camp! Argh.... Honestly, I was tired of another camp. But the camp really bonded the council a lot. The camp made us cheer together, made us work together, basically it really bonded us even more. It was also the period of revelation of some very shocking news which I am not at liberty to discuss here. The fun we had staying up throughout the night indulging in the Xbox, PS3s etc at Northlight's SRC was simply worth remembering. On the 2nd day night......... Well the camp was fun, but now its time to get back to reality, the mid-years are arriving and I am so screwed!
