Oh well, this will be the last post before entering the camp, which I hope would be an “enjoyable” experience. I went out with Sze Jet and Gerard again, with Zhan Hui as an addition today. Both Gerard and Zhan were late, so I went off with Sze Jet first to find something to much on for lunch. Oh well, I must say that Sze Jet is really an electric charger or something. Whenever my arm touches his arm accidentally, there is like a 8/10 chance of getting ‘shocked’ by his static. HAHA!! Oh well, Sze Jet was rather indecisive, he could not figure where to eat for lunch. I must say I was rather impressed in his knowledge of the various restaurants. He had comments for every single restaurant we passed by, some of which I’m completely oblivious too. I can’t imagine what goes on in his mind, probably accounts for the static from his body haha!
In the end we decided on Subway. Gerard and Zhan Hui finally arrived to meet us. Gerard was voicing his displeasure for Korea, considering it to be a “High class China”. I guess Asian countries, save Japan, have a long way to go with regards to their tourist attractions. Technically, the basic attractions are scenery, mountains, caves etc, which quite frankly, pale in comparison to some European natural attractions. Even so, the standard amenities are repulsive enough.
After that, we proceeded to KK hospital to find Dr John ***. I am not in the liberty to disclose any information yet though. Well, after that, it was time to visit CHANGI AIRPORT TERMINAL 3. I must say, it was impressive. The architectural designs were stunningly amazing. There were a couple of glass elevators like those in the international airport in Hong Kong. The terminal dwarfs the other 2 terminals, but to my astonishment, there were only 10 ticket counters. The Singapore government is getting flustered over land area and yet there is an apparent wastage of land. Oh well, everything to enhance the classiness of the Singapore’s international image. I guess if we want to sustain out title as World number 1 airport, we need to go to drastic measures to ensure that it retains its appeal. Aiya, pity I did not take any pictures of the place. After that, we went all the way back to Orchard to eat at Swenson’s. We all ate the classic baked rice, along with a regular Earthquake (yum yum ^_^). I was amazed at the incredible speed we took to finish the Earthquake. Gave Gerard most of the cherries! I really hate the taste of those cherries. Argh, I had to pay a huge sum again, haha oh well I guess it’s ok, why quibble over cash with good friends. Next, we went to shop for some items (disclose on a later date). Finally ended the day and went home. Fatigue has completely taken hold, I am so lethargic now. What is worst is that I have a camp to attend tomorrow. YEA YEA, I can’t wait for next week!!!!!
